Bon Ami is a versatile cleaner, and it works wonders on chalk marker stains.
Here’s how you can use Bon Ami to get rid of chalk marker stains from your chalkboard:
Give the surface a quick spritz with a spray bottle to wet it a little. Then sprinkle some Bon Ami powder on the stain, let it sit for a minute or so, and then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth or a paper towel.
If there’s any residue left, give it another wipe with a clean, damp cloth, and that’s it! Your chalkboard will look as good as new.
And what if you have chalk labels on your spice jars like me that you can’t lay flat? Don’t worry, Bon Ami can handle that too!
Just put a little bit of powder on a microfiber cloth and gently wipe the chalk label.
If the stain is stubborn, you may need to do a little back-and-forth wiping, but trust me, the results will be worth it. You can also use a paper towel instead of a microfiber cloth.
