In this post, I’m sharing one of my favorite interior style – boho chic. A colorful, energetic, carefree style with an exotic flare.
From boho chic to Anthropologie
Boho chic has really been gaining popularities in the past few years. Its rustic base with abundant patterns mixing and matching, creates such a distinctive interior style. What’s so attractive about boho style is that although the style itself is on the busy and elaborate side, the space often feels extremely comfy. It makes me want to jump right on the sofa and just indulge the personality of the space.
Anthropologie is the leading home decor brand in boho chic style, and it has made bohemian style feels so chic and modern. Their use of patterns is fun and current, the design of furniture and decor are classic and trendy at the same time. Besides, their styling skills are just phenomenal. There’s very few home decorators who don’t like Anthropologie. In fact, I haven’t heard of anyone who doesn’t like it. In my bathroom project, I used an Anthropologie wallpaper and absolutely loved it!
My favorite bits of boho chic
There’s so many facets about boho chic style contribute to its uniqueness and popularity, and I’m sure everyone will have a different opinion on this. For me, what I love about it is: global, whimsical, relaxed, and romantic.
Global
Natural textures, rustic wood tones, and exotic patterns make you feel like you are traveling the world while being at home. The global style also make decorating a lot easier, as almost any style can blend in comfortably with this multi-cultural global vibe.

Whimsical
The unusual objets, interesting plants, and funky furnitures adds so much whimsy and personality to a space. You may not have a horse in your living room, but how about an antique carousel horse as a statement piece?
I love the interesting shape of this bed posts. The ivy and fern looks so harmonious in this pace because of the organic shape and natural wood tone of the bed.
Relaxed
Home is where you relax and rest after a long work day. No other style looks more relaxing than bohemian style. Low sofa, indoor hammock, lush rug, tons of throws and pillows…
Romantic
Not every interior style can achieve a romantic vide easily for a space. but with boho chic, you can find romance in the soft textile, beautiful flowers and plants, and exotic wall murals.
